Forster Co-Ax Press with S Jaws is a tried and true design shown to be exceptionally strong while passing strict quality control measures. Based on testing performed heads of rims and cases came out without marks by the shell holder jaws. The spring-loaded jaws come into contact with the base of the cannelure making extraction more positive.

These jaws are self-acting. After placing a cartridge in the die for reloading and activating the handle of the press they open and close on the cartridge case. With the handle raised the jaws open and release the case automatically.
